The arts and humanities department of a local university contacted Hog Roast Wandsworth earlier this year to hire us to cater for their ball after seeing how popular our formal dining package is. The menu would be ideal for a university ball as it sets a formal tone for the evening and includes three courses of delicious catering for the staff and students to enjoy. For many students, this is likely to be their first experience of formal dining, so we want them to start with the best! As well as our delicious catering, the ball is also set to include a photo booth, live band, and a photographer, creating a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Wandsworth team arrived at the venue early in the day, giving ourselves plenty of time to prepare the catering. As the guests arrived at the venue, we began by serving a selection of tasty canapes. This included duck breast, salmon, mini pizzas, an Indian selection, and mini fish and chips.
Once the guests were seated, they enjoyed a classic Hog Roast Wandsworth main course, including a slow-roasted hog and all of the trimmings. This is a wonderful main course and always goes down a treat in formal settings!
To end the menu, we served a selection of desserts, including sticky toffee pudding and summer pudding. This was a great way to end the menu and prepared the guests for an evening of entertainment.
