Earlier this academic year, Hog Roast Erith was contacted by a local university to arrange catering for one of their upcoming graduation events. Stacey works as part of the psychology department and was in charge of organising a menu for the graduates to enjoy after their ceremony. The university has hired Hog Roast Erith several times in the past and our menus have always been a success, so Stacey knew that she wanted to work with us for this event. The menu needed to be formal and it was decided that our formal dining package would be ideal for the 200 guests to enjoy. Our team was happy to get involved with this occasion and agreed that this menu would be perfect for enjoying on such a special day.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Erith team will begin the menu by serving a delicious homemade soup of the day. The soup will be freshly prepared with the highest quality of ingredients to ensure it tastes delicious. It will be accompanied by fresh bread to create a warming and delicious first course.
For the main meal, we will be serving a delicious slow-roasted hog, which is always the star of our catering. The pork will be expertly roasted and carved on-site and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be providing roasted baby potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables.
Finally, the guests can choose between individual cheesecakes and chocolate torte for dessert. Each dish will be served with English cream and fresh berries to create a dessert that looks and tastes delicious.
