Social media is a vital tool in the pocket of marketing teams around the country and the world now. Businesses need to know how to best utilise the various social media channels to further boost their brand and turn company exposure into future customers and profits – even we at Hog Roast Peckham have learned to make full use of it to further promote our hog roast and event catering goodness to the world! But of course with the seeming wild west of social media in all of its ever-changing nature it can be hard to know where to start for some businesses; sometimes a little guidance is required to be able to get the most out of your business’ social media presence, or indeed to create one in the first place.
That has been the goal of our local partner Jack and his marketing firm which seeks to help local businesses with their online presence and marketing projects. Jack is a local upstart like ourselves, and he has called upon our services at Hog Roast Peckham on a few occasions to provide both his team with catered dining and on occasion for his clients too while working on a marketing project.
Knowing that Hog Roast Peckham are a dependable catered service Jack called upon his again for his biggest event yet as he and his team hosted a networking event for various businesses in the community to learn more about the best practices for social media and how utilise it for the better. The event was due to be attended by around 150 guests from various establishments locally and beyond, so of course Hog Roast Peckham were ready to bring our A-game as always. It was of course an occasion for these businesses to gain a useful education, and for Jack to showcase how his business can help, but for Hog Roast Peckham it was also an excellent opportunity to showcase our best work too!
When it comes to showcasing there isn’t much better than the hog roast of course! This catered beauty has it all to impress guests, and along with an accompaniment of gluten-free rolls and wraps, roast new potatoes, our gourmet coleslaw, and a tomato and mozzarella salad our catered feast more than did the business to keep this networking event abuzz. Our catering manager certainly gained a few ‘likes’ at this event!
