Due to expansions at the start of 2022, a local clothing sales company hired a new intake of staff to keep on top of their growing demand. With over 30 new staff members entering the company, it was important to make sure that everyone got to know each other and worked well together, to ensure efficiency for the future. To speed up the introductory process, Hog Roast Wimbledon was hired to cater for a team building day, which included a trip to a local theme park, followed by a delicious meal. For the menu, we were asked to provide a Gourmet BBQ for the occasion, since it includes a wide variety of dishes and has something for everyone to enjoy!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Wimbledon team got to work preparing the catering while the staff enjoyed their treat at a theme park! We set up our catering station in the office car park and had the menu prepared for when the staff arrived back to work at 6:00pm. For the main dishes, we served succulent sausages, juicy beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. We also prepared a variety of sides, including sweet potato fries, homemade chips, seasonal salad dishes, corn cobettes, and fresh bread rolls. Overall, the menu was nutritious and varied and was a great way to end a wonderful day!
