For Ella’s 21st birthday, her parents hosted a surprise party for her to enjoy, surrounded by her friends and family. Ella has always been very sociable and outgoing, so she had originally planned to enjoy a birthday night out with her close friends. Instead, her friends and family planned a surprise party for her to enjoy! The party was set to be hosted at a local function room, with Hog Roast Brixton hired to provide a delicious buffet meal for the 120 guests to enjoy. After looking through our buffet menus, it was decided that our classic hog roast was the ideal menu for the occasion, along with a meat-free alternative.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Brixton team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 8:00pm mealtime. We started by roaring the hog and ensuring that it had 5 hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious vegan main meal. For the side dishes, the Hog Roast Brixton team provided a variety of salad options, along with homemade chips, creating a varied and delicious evening meal. Our menu was a great addition to Ella’s 21st birthday party and it was great to see the surprise unfold!
